Contribution of Sir M.V

He played a key role in implementing and designing several irrigation and water supply projects in British India. including the Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mysore (now Karnataka) and the Mysore State Railway.

Education and Institution Building: Sir M.V. was involved in the establishment of several educational institutions, including the Government Engineering College in Bangalore (now University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering), where he served as the Principal.
