After the KCET 2025 seat allotment is released (starting July 21, 2025), visit the official KEA website and log in using your CET number to check the allotted college and course.
KEA offers four choices:
Option 1 (Accept & Exit): Satisfied with the allotment; pay the fee and exit further rounds.
Option 2 (Accept & Float): Accept seat, pay the fee, but stay eligible for the next round.
Option 3 (Reject & Continue): Decline the allotted seat but remain eligible for the next round of seat allotment.
Option 4 (Reject & Exit): Decline allotment and exit counselling completely.
To confirm your seat, complete the acceptance fee payment on the KEA website. This confirms your admission for that round.
Report to the allotted college with the allotment letter, payment receipt, and original documents before the deadline. Failing to do so may result in losing your seat
If you opted to float or continue, wait for the next seat allotment round and repeat the process accordingly.
The KCET supernumerary quota (SNQ) adds 5 % extra seats per course across engineering colleges in Karnataka, exclusively for students from economically weaker backgrounds (family income ≤ ₹6–8 lakh). These seats are over & above the regular intake and come with significant benefits like tuition fee waivers, though other charges apply .
