General Merit Candidates: Must have passed 2nd PUC/12th Standard or an equivalent examination with English as one of the languages. A minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics as optional subjects, is required.
SC/ST & OBC (Cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B) Candidates: Must have passed 2nd PUC/12th Standard or an equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and a minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics as optional subjects.
Entrance Exams: KEA/COMED-K For Management Admissions, candidates must appear for any one of the entrance examinations.
General Merit Candidates: Those who have passed a diploma or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% in all subjects of the final year (5th and 6th semesters) are eligible.
SC/ST & OBC Candidates: A minimum aggregate of 40% is required for candidates from these categories.

A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination such as BE/B. Tech Degree in the relevant discipline and obtained an aggregate minimum percentage of 50% of marks (for General Merit Candidates) taken together in all the subjects of all the years/semesters of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to ME/M.Tech programs of BMS College of Engineering.

To receive the GATE Scholarship, a candidate must have a valid GATE Score Card.
Candidates with a valid GATE score, opting for seats under the Sponsored Quota, are not entitled to the GATE stipend.
SC/ST/OBC candidates with a valid GATE Score claiming any other scholarship from the Government of Karnataka/India are not entitled to the GATE Scholarship.
Candidates with a valid GATE score opting for a seat under the Part-Time ME/M.Tech Program are not entitled to the GATE stipend.
A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination, i.e., any Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or equivalent examination, and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% (for General Merit Candidates) marks taken together in all the subjects including language in all the years of the Degree Examination, is eligible for admission to the full-time MBA course. (45% of marks in the qualifying examination in the case of SC, ST, and Category – I of Karnataka Candidates. Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates.)
Entrance Examination: KMT / CMAT / MAT / PGCET
A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination, i.e., any Recognized undergraduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Application, Computer Programming, Business Mathematics, or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects, and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% (for General Merit Candidates) marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years of the Degree Examination, is eligible for admission to the MCA course.
