International Institute of Hotel Management Course Admissions Process

The International Institute of Hotel Management has devised an admission process structured to identify the right student with a passion for the hospitality industry. 

Step 1: Application Submission

• This form will request personal information, the student's academic qualification, and the courses desired. 

• An application fee has to be paid; this is non-refundable to finally apply.

Step 2: Aptitude Test (ECHAT)

• Eligible applicants are mandated to take the ECHAT or Electronic Common Hospitality Aptitude Test. 

• This is an online aptitude test that tests the general aptitude, reasoning ability, and communication skills in English.

• ECHAT is part of the selection process conducted to find out whether the candidate is ready for the hospitality industry.

Step 3: Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI)

• The GDPI will assess communication skills, confidence level, teamwork, and general personality.

Step 4: Admission Confirmation

• Those who get selected will be sent an offer letter, indicating the selected program, fee structure, and enrollment deadlines. 

• Those students who accept this letter have to pay the first installment as specified.

1. Registration  

• Go to the IIHM website and log in with your email ID and mobile number.

2. Filling the Application Form

3. Payment of Application Fee

• Online application fees can be paid using credit/debit cards, UPI, or net banking.

Documents Required for Admission

1. Academic Documents

• Class 10 Marksheet and Certificate: Proof that the candidate has completed secondary education. 

• Class 12 Marksheet and Certificate: The same is required for undergraduate courses.
